you can do a Save Session Copy In and select "Include All Audio Files". This will make a copy of your session and copy the included files. check your session file allocation...and make sure that whenever you import audio into a session that you COPY the files on import.

I'm guessing you don't have Pro Tools PT will support typical file formats...preferably AIFF or WAV. Bit depth max of 24 bit, sample rate depends on the interface. If they have a 96I/O then up to 96kHz...if they have a 192I/O then up to 192kHz.

i'm guessing your trying to import files and these file names contain the "." character at the beginning of their title? If I remember correctly Mac OSX views files that have a period as it's first character as invisible files...or database files.

yeah there will be, but I'm saying pull the original file out and see if you still have the audio. Just drag it to a new play list. You might have to go back in and re-edit though....but at least you'll still have your audio in tact. Better than having to re-record.

try finding the original file in the region bin...not just the clip, but the originally recorded file. you can also try re-importing it from the audio files folder.

if your original question was do you lose any quality going back and forth...no. It's all digital so there is no degradation just because you switch platforms.

your HDR24 kicks out MTC via a MIDI connection right? You should just be able to plug MIDI out into your Mbox... S/PDIF out (if you got it...otherwise, analog will work)... press Apple (CTRL on PC) + J in Pro Tools to put Pro Tools online... arm your tracks in Pro tools... and then press play...

plug it in...turn it on...start pro tools...create an instrument track...put on a software synth plugin...press a note on the keyboard.

have you recently installed or changed anything with your computer? I had a guy who changed his anti-virus software up and he started getting buffer errors soon after. He disabled/closed it and it fixed things. Try deleting prefs, cleaning up Windows, etc.
