ok thanks Lukmen. I would try re-recording the guitars, they seem a little weak and I'm sure with the set up you have you could get better recordings. So do you use the distortion on the amp rather than pedal distortion? It is usually best to use the amp distortion. G

I get where you are coming from with this, but there is still a lot of highly skilled work involved in mixing even great recordings to get a great mix. It is easy to get a good mix with great recordings, but it is a skill that only some people have to get a great Mix from recordings. :) G
