The one's I've seen on the Audigy 2 PP are good too in several ways. And I wouldn't draw the conclusions that the AD/DA on a card is bad because it uses the same converters as that card. There's other problems on the Audigy. I'm really curious on the new Audiophile though.

I saw somewhere that you could strip both sides of a wire and make a few twists around the groundpart of the plug in the guitar, and then step on the other side with your foot as a quickfix. You could probably in this case twist it around the bridge instead... Haven't tried this myself so I...

Emu has had trouble with that, as far as I know mostly because they used at least some of the same codebase. They HAVE noticed this issue and I think both the latest driver releases have adressed it. I'm not sure if it's totally cured though, but some people have made it work. I only know this...
