Let me rephrase that... As Chris Harris' agent, chief cook and bottlewasher... I can only guarantee that those tracks will be available for download until the artist... the star, himself, makes the decision to take them down. Move quickly, my breathren, as when Chris drops the gauntlet... all...

    Live setup feedback

Is the feedback coming from the mics or the guitars? Is the feedback a high squeal, or is it a low rumble?

    >Messhuggah has committed to a bass track, and another generous soul ("Herm") has volunteered to mic up a kit. Hmm... sounds like we might have a 'round 2' in the making.:D

hooking up powered Jbls to a powered mixer?

Tex is right, as usual. Just find the line outs... they have to be there... even if you use the busses to route out of the board, you can get there.

Please Mix This - A Challenge (really, very challenging)

For you, Chris, I put a bass break in my second version... as it closes in on 2:00... For the record, I didn't move any of the tracks (with the exception of the intentional displacement on the guit and background vox trax). I figured I should mix it as if it were on tape... either punch it in -...

Please Mix This - A Challenge (really, very challenging)

I had a chance to spend a little more time on this, and was able to get the background vox and some of the production more to my liking. For those who would like to give it a spin: www.homesellersatlanta.com/chris_harris/juliet2.wma This has been fun, Chris!:D

Please Mix This - A Challenge (really, very challenging)

Actually, there's several mixes I like a lot... and there's something to like in all of them, really. I would like my mix better if I spent the time on each individual track to get the most out of each. Sure, I played with the eq, compression and effects... but not long enough to get it the way...

Please Mix This - A Challenge (really, very challenging)

Well, I finally got a couple of hours to throw a mix together... I wish I had more time to mess with it right now, but I wanted to get my submission in to earn the right to take some creative license with it later. http://www.homesellersatlanta.com/chris_harris/juliet1.wma I hope you guys like...
