Another song recorded LIVE on the outside deck at Waldo's in Vero Beach, Fl. I used a total of 14 tracks through my Presonus Firestudio and Presonus Digimax FS. Recorded in Reaper. A good time was had by all.
Turn up the speakers. ;)...

A neighbor is selling his 300 LP collection of records. He says it's mostly '70'a and '80's rock stuff. I'm going to go see it this morning. The only problem is that he wants to sell it in a package deal with a bunch of very high $$ vintage stereo "stuff", amp, speakers, turntable, etc.
It shows as three "devices", "Presonus Firestudio", "Presonus Firestudio Midi In" and "Presonus Firestudio Midi Out". I don't see where to check on the 16 or 24 bit status. You are correct that I am running Windows 7 and, surprisingly, all is well. It was an easy transition when I got the new...
I have an AMD quad core in my latest HP computer and use it for recording all the time. Works great. I recorded a band last night with 15 inputs in use and not a stutter all night. It just seems to work.
Very tempting. I did get an email from another Grammy award winning engineer quite some time ago looking for him. I had to tell him that I am the other one, not the one he is looking for. :( I thought I had some work coming in. ;) I'll start working on the address and phone number hi-jack...
I use a Presonus Firestudio (actually two of them ganged if needed) and a Presonus Digimax FS and an ART Digital MPA. This gives me 18 channels of inputs or 26 channels if I bring along the second Firestudio. They seem to be working fine with my AMD Quad core processor with Windows 7. I use...

It's really nice to see my name attached to such a fine product, even if it is a different me. I should make him change his name since I was here first. ;)
The first condenser mics that I used were a pair of Neumann U-67's. I just wish that I had owned them rather than just using the studio that they were in. The first condensers that I owned were a pair of Tascam PE-120's that I purchased direct from Teac when I worked for a Teac dealer...
I'm using an ART Head Amp 6 Pro and like it for what I do. http://www.artproaudio.com/products.asp?id=139&cat=15&type=89
They also make a 4 channel amp...

Thanks for the comment. I remember when I was in the pro audio business I would spend too much on my employee sales. That's how I picked up the JBL 4430 monitors that I still have today. Of course, not much else that I picked up back then ('70's - '80's) is still here.
I still have the...
