Agree 100% (more if possible). I will NEVER do business with Monster cable company. They are about as low as you can go in the business. Friends don't let friends buy Monster product. Do a bit of research and you will find that they make a profit out of suing anyone else using the name...
Good point on the fonts. The pix were done one at a time quite some time ago and done totally individually which is why they are slightly different. I did just recently change the audio so that it can be played on the site rather than having to go somewhere else to hear. I think that really...
An old Ampex consumer reel to reel with sound on sound and sound with sound. It was usable for about 3 bounces before it got too noisy.
Next came a Teac 3340 and a Teac 7300-2T that I used for location recording (along with a couple of Teac Model 2's with modified, balanced, mic inputs)...
This was a spur of the moment video that I shot while I was recording a band a few months back. I recorded audio using 15 tracks in Reaper (GREAT program). I dumped the audio to the video in Pinacle Studio 12. Turned out MUCH better than the camera mounted microphone. The camera was a Canon...
Kids. I started recording in the mid '70's, two track, then four track, then 8 track, and left it a couple of years later to go into the pro audio business. I didn't want to compete with my customers so I sold all my gear (sold my 4 track gear to Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis when they were just...
Are you singing with a music stand in front of you. I have found a few times in the past that the sound will bounce off a music stand and back at the microphone creating a phasing type of effect as the singer moves around in front of the mic.
Ah, the drums. I always try to get an image similar to how the drummer is set up. In his, rather large, kit he had the snare slightly right, toms and cymbals all over the spread. I suggested to them that the next time, and they want to do it again after saving up some pennies, that he bring a...
Nice performance. I had to check out "Fire on the Mountain" while I was there since I recorded a band doing that a few months ago, also live and outside. Fire on the Mountain - Voodoo by Richard King on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free This was recorded on the back...
Another recorded LIVE country song with a a bit of a surprise at the tail end. Recorded LIVE using a Presonus Firestudio 2626 and a Presonus Digimax FS.
Comments welcome.

I've got 2 Firestudio 2626's and a Digimax FS, but I need to keep them all. I might sell one 2626 if I ever get the house that I have on the market sold though. Wanna buy a house and a Firestudio? ;)
Out of tune is ok in country. ;) The thing that is driving me totally nuts is the sound at about 1:02 in the song. It sounds like a computer noise of some kind, but I haven't been able to figure out what it is. The band is only lead guitar (two amps), rhythm guitar, bass and drums. Maybe the...
I have always liked the Jefferson Airplane "Takes Off" album, recorded before Grace joined up. I think it still sounds pretty good for it's time period and the fact that it was "probably" recorded on a 1/2" four track machine. I think is was some of their best work (or as they would say "worst").
