im going to use these for toms, and/or snare maybe.
these will be for all around drums so hard hitting and soft hitting drummers, would the cardoids over the condensers, the 604 of the adx 90 be better?
also, on snare? how do each sound?
please just sum up the mic in both its tom and snare...
im hoping to get some ideas on placement for more effective overheads. right now i usually have oktavas on a dual mix adapter in xy, the left mix pointing at the right side of the kit, the right mic pointing at the left side of the kit. im just not sure, how far over or up i should be pointing...

is this a good unit. how many colors can it print onto a cd and all that? and i belive it burns the cds too and duplicates them as well as prints, so thats a plus right? im new to cd printers and duplicators of these sorts so point on some good machines for me and ones to stay away from? ahve...
a 603 might even work better over a 012 nwo that i think about it, especially for the hats....i heard the 603s a little more trebly, so im guessing this will not leave such a dull sound on the hats

this powered mixer has got 250 watts stereo, and 500 bridged. my bands playing a battle of the bands and htey want us to bring our own pa which i think is really lame. but...will this be powerful enough for the vocals to get through the school auditorium/gym that this battle of the bands will be...

early today i recorded drums and guitar, and could hear playback through the monitor outs of my q10 perfectly and was pumped that i finally got this thing set up. now i go back to open up the project, and no sound is coming out. i see the levels all going like theyre supposed too, but hear nada...

i finally got my q10 working in cubase where it doesnt have latency, but i went to go and record a second track, and i'd play and there wouldnt be any signal coming through, whats up? also, i wanna know how to do 8 simultaneos track for drums. thanks alot.
grooves-i heard the 609 was good for the floor tom, and then using the 604s on the high and mid tom. have you done this yet? tell me how it is? thanks man
