WOW, good story!
Sounds very close to my last 14 years of being a musician, minus the wife and the bassist behind my back thing, lol.
It's hard to find good musicians these days, our biggest problem here is finding drummers and bassists. Everybody wants to be a guitarist (including me).

Yes, a few years ago I had a 73 Les Paul Goldtop deluxe, sweetest guitar I have ever played, the only downfall was the mahogony body...
HEAVY
I loved the neck on it tho.
Yea, I was going to change the pickups, maybe put a dimebucker in the bridge. Who knows?
I'll be on the lookout for a 570, for some reason Im almost stuck on this guitar.
Awesome, actually, I was always under the impression that the wizard necks were thinner, but my co-worker who owns a ibanez, said that its thinner in thickness.
I have always wanted a Ibanez Rg-570, they look nice and have the wizard necks.
Whats up with the scalloped fretboard? I saw this on...
Yep, a midi controller, midi capable drumset, or a midi keyboard/drum machine is what you need. Midi sends signals and trigger samples on your pc. It can pretty much trigger any sample as long as you set it to in the midi output.
I will let other chime in here on this tho, because I am just...
I'm looking around, getting ready for a new guitar in the near future (hopefully) and I am trying to find something that has a wide flat neck.
I've always been a Fender guy, but the Fender I have now has a small thin neck (which I thought I loved, until I realized that my super long fingers...
Thanx for the link, the problem is that I probably wont have any money out of next weeks check either (gas bills from winter piled up on me) so I am looking for someone who has this for trade.
Anybody at all?
I got a few creative sblive, some nics, some misc cpu's, few small hard drives (1-4 gigs)

Despite if you don't like what he played, he definately has some skill.
Kids are getting better, younger and younger these days. Almost scary..
I would love to see if this kids really knows what he is playing, or if he has just memorized these licks and can play fast.
Skill nonetheless.
I always thought they had to match too, but i had read recently they dont.

Guitar rig seems to be fine.
I have been running a p3 1ghz on a Asus dual cpu board with no problems. I went ahead today and added a second 733mhz p3 into the system and most the recording programs are freaking out, doing weird stuff and giving me errors
Tracktion gives me a cpu overload error and completely freeze...

If I am using a program that uses the ASIO drivers (for instance, the Native Instrument Guitar Rig standalone application) and I try to play something in Winamp, Windows media player, Adobe Audition...

I am guessing all I need is 5 pin (?) to (16 pin)? joysick adapter for midi out (want to send signals from my drum machine to trigger vst...
Asio is about the only thing that stands out in my mind, and better midi control.
lack of Asio support is what is hindering me from using Audition full time. Anybody think they will ever support it? Seems to me they are miles behind without it.
Sucks, because I have always thought that...
