Hmm, I have one of those MK-319's I bought at GT years ago (roughly 8), gonna have to go find out how to tell if it's counterfit
Never have gotten a vocal sound I really like from it but in all fairness I never really tried either.....just set it up and go is what I've done until last...
All right All right, so I'm in here listening again...what would you expect ?.....
C'mon, I know I'm not the only one :D
Sounds so dang true and new at the same time you guy's, Can't help but to listen to it.
I always liked that too.
I plan on incorporating more of that in my own original stuff, puts the listener in front of the band and to me, gives it that raw/real sound I've always liked.
Listening over and over......:D
I think this might be like a double post but what the heck, I'm new.......you guys will forgive me (I think) and I just plain have more to say.
This is one of my all time favorites and you guy's have done some justice here.
Greg_L, Gorty, You guys made that...
I went to Insert/ media file (reaper) and browsed to my cakewalk audio folder.
From there, I held down the control key and selected each individual track (wav) for that particular song and then hit open, Reaper opened all the wav files (tracks) as individual tracks.
This was just a couple days...
Both my laptops (Dell's) make some God awful noise when running on AC power without a ground lift.
I put a groundlift (3 prong to 2 prong adapter) on my power supply plug and the noise is gone.
Incedentally, I've noticed of late that Dell no longer uses 3 prong grounded power cables on their...
I don't believe you can daisy chain 2 of them together yet, maybe they'll change that in the future.
I'm guessing the other firewire port might be for an external firewire HDD but I'm just guessing here.
I've transfered 8 tracks via ADAT from my Fostex Vf16 straight into Cakewalk homestudio...
I just started using my old VF16 again last February for the RPM challange (bought it new when it first came out).
I just bought an Alesis iO26 this past weekend that I interface with my laptop and the VF16 (via firewire and ADAT respectively), just tested it out a little bit last Sunday, love...
Greg L,
Forgive my newness but as a Kiss and specially Ace fan, I was wondering what other Ace/Kiss songs have you covered ?
I thought New York groove was so well done to the original, I'd love to hear more.
I do a very different and unique version of "Strutter" but have never recorded it...
First off, I apologize if I offended you Boingoman, that wasn't my intention.
Secondly, I apologize to the rest of the board because after reading my post again, it appears I inadvertently misslead you guy's with the whole "don't lick the motherboard" thing, if you do that, you'll get zapped...
Glad to help rt2726
I wouldn't worry about any warranty problems, any thing that would take out the electronics, would still take out the electronics with the ground attached.
The ground is there to protect YOU not the computer (don't lick the motherboard....):-)
Boingoman, not harpin on ya...
Try using a ground lift on your pc power supply cord (3 prong to 2 prong adapter).
All the laptops Iv'e used in music have this problem and this is the only thing I've ever had to do to resolve the issue.
