ok heres the thing, im getting pops and clicks, but it if set th buffer to the lowest setting <100 sometihng> its records clear, if i set it to '1000 something' i get a constant crackling buzz. im using a pent III, windows xp. 512ram maybe my puter is too slow? i dont use it for anything but...

wtf is clocking? is it like hertz? the rhythm of the digital data stream?? do i use the sound card as the clock and reaper chimes to the 1010lts beat? or the other way around. i swear the search engine's gone screwy thanks wise dudes.
