forced to do this on 2 different sets of phones but it sounds ok in the vehicle which has a good system.not the highest mp3 mixdown setting but I had to keep it under 10mb. also, yes, the drums/cymbals suck but they're just casio samples until I get the real drummer in. just practicing. Gypsy...

New to the home recording site.

yes. you would need a cable w/ 1/4" male to rca males(phones jack out of your recorder) but only if your receiver has aux inputs or tape/phono in inputs, which it should. or dual male rca to single male rca cable & run from line out of the recorder to the line in on your computer if you have a...

Should I buy Mbox Mini w/PT10 OR Mbox w/Express?

the worst things I've read about SE in my opinion, other than the bugs & stuff is that it isn't upgradeable. as far as pro tools in general- you have to use proprietary vst's. But,in the industry you have to know pro tools. I like my mixcraft for the feature of each individual track you can...

importing SE project to 9 or 10

well I'm not even going to use SE but record all tracks as .wav, full tracks from start to finish-blank spots & all & bounce or export(whatever the term is in pro tools) so the tracks sync up.

importing SE project to 9 or 10

I'm new to pro tools and needing to know if can this be done? I'm wanting to do my basic tracks on SE @ home then take them to the big studio which runs either PT 9 & 10 for final tracks & mix/master. the current DAW I use can do this w/ all later release versions.
