Definitely something to be said for both incarnations. As much as I liked the earlier lineup, I believe Fleetwood Mac would have remained a footnote in rock history if they hadn't joined forces with Nicks- Buckingham.

Considering Fleetwood Mac had some of the best selling albums in history, I would tend to think he is not underrated.

I have a first generation G5 PPC with a Delta 1010lt . It has worked perfectly without noise or other aberrations.. It seems to get along with my power supply just fine. My Delta came ready for PCI-X if that makes a difference.

Is it an older iBook or a newer MacBook? Does it have audio input? Either way it certainly has usb ports. There are a ton of usb interfaces out there. If you only use guitar you only need a cable that goes from 1/4" to usb. Many manufacturers make them. The mixer you refer to as being made by...

Yes its a good choice. You won't have to wait long for Cubase as SX4's release is imminent (Ok Cubase users- don't laugh). Pro tools LE is fine and Logic is always an option. Best of luck to you. p.s. get more than 512mb ram- you will need it no matter which program you choose.
