Had to listen with head-phones again, but WOW! Its time for a "Ed does a drum post, micing, processing ect". My printers all warmed up. Nice mix over all, but really liked those drums.

Fishmed and S8-N, re EQ not being real time, its one of the reasons Im waiting for Digi 001 to come out for the PC. With Pro-tools ALL effects were real time, at least at the demo I attended. Pretty impressive especially if they can duplicate it on PC. The limit is 24 tracks though.

Kinda a reminds me of Freedesign stuff (early 70,s). Your vocals seem to take up the same freq. as your guitar. The harmonics interfer with each other. Maybe try micing the guitar differently also the volume seemed uneven on the guitar, maybe a bit of compression on it as you record would help...

If you have ever heard line hum you KNOW it affects the quality of your music. Balanced lines go a long way in eliminating it.

Any MB with the new Intel 820 chip set will support ATA66. They are just starting to ship. Try SuperMicro site or Tyan, Asus. They will all be shipping with the 820 chip set.
