Well, Tracktion has been giving me the option for it when I select the Alesis as my sound device. That's good to know though, that way i don't eat up recourses more than needed. Either way, Will the 4gb ram be worth my while/cash? Or will 2 do it?

I'm running an Alesis iO 26. she's held up well, and i can get a good 6 tracks running at 32 bit, but when i try to up it, my pc tends to lag up and freeze. I'm running Mackie Tracktion 3 also, in case anyone wants to know.

if you want something you won't mind beating up, order a bass from www.rondomusic.com, and slap new pickups and tuners on it from guitar fetish so it sounds ok and stays in tune. bam. 150-175 bucks and you've got a bass that plays well, sounds okay, and didn't by any means break the bank. chyea.

I've been a tracktion user for a long while. Started out in Acid pro, which i now think is a pile of trash, and got tracktion 2. WOW what a difference. Tracktion 3 is basically the same, but with some more features. Really easy to work in, and a nice simple single screen interface. Great stuff.
