I agree with Garry's comment above. The guitar sounds too tinny. The vocal quality doesn't bother me but she does have some off parts with "it's you" and even in some other parts.

I have one and I love it. Plus, my experience with their customer support here in the States has been nothing short of outstanding. Sibilance is greatly reduced by technique although some vocal qualities tend to emphasize it more than others.

I have the NTK and AT4040 the AT4040. I like both of them but to my ears, my voice sounds much nicer on the NTK. I agree. Our mic preferences depend largely on the source (in this instance, the voice) and how we hear it. I've never used the K2 or the KSM but I think all the mics in your test...

UPDATE: Prior to sending me a new tube, the Rode tech rep suggested that I send him the mic and power supply so they can check the whole set. I decided to replace the tubes first. I received the new tube from Rode yesterday and the good news is I discovered that replacing tubes was very easy...

Sorry. I meant that I couldn't hear the vocals very well. The instruments sound fine. As far as the singing goes, "Constant correct practice makes perfect." Don't give up.

Same here. Can't hear the vocals as well as the instruments but when I turned it up some, the vocal harmony (2nd voice) is obviously off at times.

Thanks Garry. Believe it or not, I'm having a hard time cleaning up the clicks. That's just the beginner in me. The boomy guitars are due to my inexperience with mic positioning. I am still experimenting and may need to get better headphones to get a more accurate mix before cutting the track...
