I noticed that you did not straddle the corners with your bass traps instead you have them butting up to one another actually creating another corner. Is this the proper way to mount them? I am in process of doing Ethan's traps and really would like to get an answer to which way is better...

I can easily afford to lose the 2-3 feet of length in the room. Especially if I can drastically improve the room. Please let me know and thanks again.
