I want to start recording using a firebox in cubase. Do I need to have both monitors and headphones plugged in to be able to record. Another impatiently stupid question: How do I replay what I've recorded?

reason asking is that ProPak Recording Software won't read Never mind. I read a thread by VeganZombie, another thread saying that the CD doesn't read. I'll probably just get Fruity Loops. Does it cost $35? I look it up on FL's website, and it says the minimum edition is $100.

i'm new to recording software. do you use propak software suite for your recordings (drum loops, effects, etc.?), or can you just do all of that using cubase only? is fruityloops better for creating drum tracks? thanks.
