Interesting...what mic do you use to track acoustic? Preamp? Anything else in the chain? I think they sound great, it just sounds like compression to me, but some gear makes a similar sound to my ears, so I'm now curious.

Also, if I just wrote 8 paragraphs telling you shit you already know, I apologize. I don't really know where you are in the mixing journey. You have to use your ears, but cutting a guitar starting at around 2.5KHz will usually make the vocal pop out more. That's a starting point.

I think the thing with the acoustics may just be a compression issue. They ring a little bit too much in the top end, but they were clearly recorded beautifully. Super nice performance.

I like the solo tone about 10,000x better than the original...but Iommi does something kind of cool on the original. There's a harmony line pretty low in the mix...similarly fuzzed out like the true lead, but the effect ended up being pretty cool.

The concept is really nice. The "flute," I guess? Parts of that are too pitchy...it's distracting. It sounds like a flute is underwater and phased. I think that's an instrument that's hard to mix in general...it's pretty loud here. Or maybe I'm just noticing it more because of the pitch...

I don't know what version I listened to, but that sounds like something I can't possibly improve. Parts of it reminded me of Steely Dan. Tasteful comes to mind.
