    Help bulding bass trap?

Is there any software that simulates waves in which you can add walls, corners, absorption, etc?

    Help bulding bass trap?

You said you made 8 triangles by cutting the 4'x2' in half, then diagonally into quarters. I'm talking about doing the exact same thing, just cutting horizontally and vertically rather than diagonally. You use the same amount of material, but it may be more effective (large surface area...

But the square uses the same amount of material, just more efficiently...

Oc-703 vs The cotton candy stuff?

Rigid. But if you still have that stuff in rolls, it'll work perfectly.

    How to rout this

Mackie Control Universal and there are a bunch of digital mixers out there which can double as a control surface and allow more inputs via ADAT. Don't worry about it, the mods should move it.

    How to rout this

You need a control surface for that. There are a few available including the Behringer BCF2000. Btw, this is the wrong forum for these questions

    How to rout this

Why would you use both? The Onyx will act like an interface, which eliminates the need for the Fireface. But the Fireface has a really good reputation and you already own it, so why bother with the Onyx? Instead you'd probably be better utilizing the Firefaces ADATs. There are several preamps...

    Help bulding bass trap?

This is to the experts, Ethan, Frank, etc. Instead of cutting into triangles to make a superchunk, wouldn't cutting into squares provide better results? A normal superchunk at its thickest point is 17" and this effectively reduces to 0", but a square at it's thickest point is also 17", but...

    Help bulding bass trap?

And 4 sheets for a normal panel trap. The superchunk should outperform the panel, but will be 50% more expensive. Now, I'd like to see a comparison of a 6" panel trap and superchunk like this. Yes the superchunk is thicker (17" at it's thickest points) but the panel is 6" thicker, if you...

    Help bulding bass trap?

An even simpler and less expensive solution is to simply build a frame for each 4" panel and wrap in fabric. It won't quite be a superchunk, but will provide really good results, cheaper and easier.

Exactly. Don't even think it needed half the FX I added. I could definitely remove the gates without a real noticeable difference, and the comp on drums is just a limiter to stop them clipping. Everything else makes a marginal difference, but it sounded great without it all anyway.

Hey man. That's a good place to start. I've got a Tascam FW1804, Alesis M1 mk2s, and use Reaper. Yeah that was probably my dad, I think. Erm I do have photos, but they're not very good. I've just bought a new camera and am waiting for it to arrive. Once it does, I'll upload some better photos...

Haha, you must've liked the way the guitar tracks were, 'cause all I did was add a high pass and reverb to rhythm and a little more reverb to lead guitars. I mixed on my Behringer MS16 computer speakers in an untreated room and Superlux HD681 headphones. I could've went down to the studio (at...

Just realised how similar mine is to RAMI's. Biggest differences are with the snare and lead guitar.

Here's my attempt. Didn't do a great deal to it. Just a little comp here and there, and a little EQ and reverb on guitars. Spent about 20mins on it...
