Just listened to the remix. Again, great tune. If I could offer suggestions that I think would make it better: There's a line, in places, playing opposite the lead guitar...a nice scale-wise thing...simple. Doubling the line with something opposite would be nice...a little organized...

Love the panning. All the parts are jiving...and the spread and ambience are ear candy. No holes in the tableau ...big-picture sound. Much better than I remember. I wish I'd have hit a few more of the BD hits. That was a tough foot to follow! Just a plain good job!

Yep. Tighter would be great! Fiddle is a tricky feel: gotta start the bow moving a nanosecond before y' want the noise. Slipping tracks to get it on the one. Har! All the tracks are as-recorded...nothing done to them...except a 6-ish db boost in the bottom end of the drums and tympani below...

Well, one thing I'm learning: if I do enough fiddle trax, the intonation awfulness averages out. :^) And I'm determined to get a cello. Need something to cover the space between fiddle and bass. I might do with a viol...archaic cello...six string...tuned like a guitar. Wish I had the chops...

I could wince through the recording and imagine what you'd sound like in a couple years. It's real good music....kind of vintage Brit early 70's Mott rock. Just keep going!

Very good, David! I think the bass could use some more boom in the bottom. Did you bump ambience on the kit on the choruses? Sounds like it. Nice effect. Voice , kit, and solos are leveled together. Bass and guitar chord comping get lost later on, I think. If you were to add...

I like the melody, words, arrangement [lots of texture, dynamics, etc]. Voices are great. That has a LOT going for it. The drums are noticably faux. The snare isn't leveled up to counter the BD, I think. The bass sound is good. The tinkling toy piano is odd. Distracting. I'd ditch it..or...

Suggest kill flangie FX. Simplify. Pan rationally....like narrow the percussion field, etc. The last chord in the opening progression ["Change the World" :^) is strange. I think absence the dom7 [A] is making it suffer more than necessary?
