The second mix had the bass level about right. But I think the problem is not in the level: it's probably more the note selection and rythmic figure [none...straight 8ths] the the bass plays. The A part's second chord is really weak with the bass playing...ah...the 5th?...way up high. I think...

Good tune and performances.....but, man!....sounds like over-processing to near max. I know this would really rock if you re-mixed the original, un-voodooed trackage and mastered with restraint!

I think the recording has a vintage 30's sound....I like it. Only tweaks I'd suggest are level down the bass fiddle and rhythm guit; up with the vox and feature line-playing instruments. Super!

Very solid. Enjoyed it much. I'd narrow the field of the drums: they're everywhere!
