When you transfer the tracks via wave manager to your pc they will be dry even if you had the effects on when recording. Effects are not added until you mixdown to 5/6 or 7/8. (it may just be 7/8, not totally sure about 5/6?)

Stuck in the 70s (even 60s) is not a bad place to be stuck. Just my opinion, but I don't think much of today's stuff can hold a candle to the music of the 60s and 70s. They're still playin Free Bird.

You get the fasoft plugins on the fasoft site. They also have a link to other plugins. If I was you I would look around on the net for free plugins. There are some out there that are just as good or better than the ones you have to pay for on the fasoft site. I've said this numerous times before...

Your right Tom. I tried it last night. That's what happens when you learn to use the MR-8 by trial and error and don't read the manual.

tom, The low volume and hiss he is getting is heard on the MR-8 and on his PC after transfer. Also, I'm gonna have to check this out about the faders not effecting the recording level, especially the master fader. I may be mistaken but I think my master fader does control recording level.

Ya'll just be sure and post it on nowhereradio so we can all hear it.

I leave mine connected all the time. Really unless you put the MR-8 in USB mode it is not an active connection.
