I have a Sennheiser MHK416T shotgun mic, with an adapter for 48v phantom power, so it can easily be used as either a film or video location boom mic, an industry-standard voiceover mic (the VO mic of choice for promos, trailers, etc.), or both. It's in good working condition, with a few cosmetic...

Yes. Yes you are. But maybe you can find an older UK made VC3 or something if you still want that sound. Look around a bit.

Lots of folks (myself included) don't hang much anymore. That said, it was a pleasant surprise to see you posting. Hooray for recording! :)

Depends on the quality of the pres in the mixer and interface. A cheap mixer might have worse pres than your interface. . You may just want to get a separate preamp, especially if you want a particularly clean, powerful, or specifically colored sound, and don't need the mixing/routing...

I have the black version as well. I believe that it was the Mogami version of the V67. Nice mic - can't vouch for the green ones, but this one's a keeper.
