Hey, I just bought a firepod and hooked it up to my Ferari Laptop, this laptop can more than handle it. Upon installing it correctly, after opening up the Cubase LE program I could only record two tracks at once. And it looks like they restrict you on using the full eight. Is this true? Or...

so thats a negative on the opus? I dont know they just seemed good to me, each mic was expensive enough. This was going to be the drum mic setup before hand... two sm 81s for overheads, sm 57s all around for toms and snare, no idea for hi-hat, and beta 52

well i heard that you use the overheads with the sm57 and the condensor mic on the guitar cab, three mics for that. and you put one behind the cab and put it 180 degrees out of phase? I'm not completely thats why I need help, but that mic set isnt good? I would have thought it was.

so wait we dont need a good soundcard? With the firepod as the audio interface we just need the computer? That sounds good to me but I thought that that was with the digi 002 that you didnt need the pci sound card, are you saying the same goes with the firepod?
