i thought that but i never hear about a firewire cable being included in the reviews.

ive got a hercules 16/12 firewire interface coming to my house soon and i cant find out what kind of firewire cable to get. 6 pin? 4 pin? i cant find that info anywhere.

do you have to have eq? isnt it just for fixing mistakes? if something sounds good then why add eq?

what kind of mics? what instruments? whats your budget?

do u have a recording program with a click on it? well if you do that you can have a track of clicks and export it like that.

its a prtty nice machine. lots of memory. the downsides are the pre amps and effects are prtty weak.

in those huge studios you see those huge mixers. how do they get the mixer connected to their computers? i dont think its firewire or usb....

in all those studios they have those huge mixers....i dont understand how they get those mixers to work with their computers. like how do they get them connected. im prtty sure its not firewire and i know its not usb.

it shouldnt sound terrible you just wont have the mixing options that you would with a multiple input firewire or usb device.

i just got done recording something and when i got to export as a wav. file at a sample rate of 96000 and sample size of 32 bit it renders fine but then when i play it in windows media player its all super loud and distorted

y would you hate it?
