Yesterday, I mic'd toms with these on the cardioid pattern. They worked out great. I also used one on some scratch vocal guide tracks and I'm very pleased with what I got.

I saw this too. I also bought one when they were $69.99 (which they were for a long time) I'm trying to convince myself I don't need a second one... I do really like the mic though. (and after thinking about it some more) Now I'm trying to convince myself I don't need 2 more for tom mic'ing!
