Glen Danzig was the original Lead singer for the Misfits, Jerry Only was the bassist/backups. The lead singer of The Misfits now is Jerry Only. Glen Danzig is now the singer for Danzig. I believe that Jerry Only is now the Lead singer for The Misfits after the mid 80's.

This is exactly what I used to do, and I came up with some great songs. Although more recently the best work I've ever done has birthed from this combination. Whiskey+Acoustic Guitar+Dave = a new song just keep some kind of recorder around or else you'll forget it.

If anyone would like to hear a real master of story telling and captivating lyrics, you should check him out. Although he is not for everyone and thats the way it should be.

I think its easier to get a good sound out of an electric. I also think when acoustic is done correctly, which takes talent, it can blow people away.
