I've had a few lead players use .008s on their guits. As long as it's set up right, there's no problem. Personally, I use .009s. The key word here is: Experiment! Strings are cheap, compared to other things.

If you are playing a fast chord progression, break it down into sections. Then glue em all back together. I always taught peeps to practice changes, faster than normal. Makes you more comfortable/smooth, playing at normal speed.

That looks like the crack started where the head was spliced on. Sometimes they'll break at the glue joint. Won't cost too much to fix that. It will definitely be cheaper to take it to a good woodworker, than a luthier.

Hard to believe gusty winds would do that kind of damage, just from hitting another stand. That wood neck is designed/engineered to withstand knocks like that. I've seen guitars that fell out of people's trailers, and trucks, with less damage. Repaired some that's been through fire and floods...

That amp is way too small. For great cracking-crackling sounds, go with at least 500 watts and four 18" folded horns. Hope this helps!;)

Just go out to the stores and try a few, or a bunch. Fretless basses are great, if you have the ear for it. But, you'll never find out for yourself without trying a few. :guitar:

Sounds great. Normally, I don't care for that crap, but you are putting out some great crap! I didn't really listen to the lyrics, but the music is a lot better than most who try that style. Bravo!

Definitely better than your last tune. Vocals had that nice, tight harmonics that I love.
