Word. I like having some rackspace built in to the main desk for whatever might find it's way in there. Also, I noticed this in the related links section down there - Apparently that guy's a member here, and here's his thread about that exact desk...
That looks like it's entirely made of 2x6 boards and plywood (or maybe fiber board or something). 12' 2x6 boards are about 6-7 bucks each at Lowes. Assuming 8' wide surfaces with 6' wide base, looks like you'd need maybe 4 or 5 12' boards and one 8' x 4' sheet of plywood and only a handful of...
Every one I've ever seen or used can - Cubase, ProTools, Sony ones (Acid and whatever that video editor's called that's basically Acid for the audio part), Reaper, Cakewalk flavors... They can all do that.
A better question might be "Which DAW were you using that couldn't do this?"
Not many people around here are familiar with FL from what I've seen, so we're probably not going to know what you really mean that may be called "patterns" in that software.
...The answer is almost certainly yes, though.
LMFAO hahahhaa :laughings:
@SD88: We haven't had a thread like this in a good while....it's nice to see that, as you've noticed, nobody here much cares to discuss it one way or the other. Now that they both run on the same hardware and the prices of Macs have come down significantly - zealots...
They're not really lying, and they are working. You're just misunderstanding their use of "stereo". The pair of ins constitute "stereo" when used together. One for left and one for right. Not left and right in each 1/4" jack. The way you did it there at the end is how it's supposed to work...
There's a "remember me" button when you're logging in that will keep you logged in until you clear your cookies.
FWIW: The rationale behind logging somebody out is in case the computer is shared, like in a library or something, so that others won't have access to somebody's account who forgets...
@CSP: Back when this guy made this thread, he made like 10 other ones basically asking the same thing, in which he did answer all the points you made there. It's some Indian dynamic microphone (don't remember the name, but it has "Professional" in the title) and he's plugging it into the...
Is this latest clip with the ISA one or your Presonus preamp? The difference from this clip to any of the others is pretty huge. This is the first time the resonance frequencies have changed - they've kinda dissipated a bit - they're over wider regions, but not as sharp. (Which is a very good...
Oh, you changed your post after I responded. I like this one better, anyway. The other one seemed kinda hostile :(
(program + noise) - noise = program.
Simplify the algebra by removing program from both sides.
noise - noise = 0.
Hence my response. You can call that a lot of things - the...
I'm fine :). Don't read my post as snarky - just discussing what you said, and some goofiness at the end. Another smiley fail...I'm trying to get better with the smilies!
Your post seems to be saying "it's rare that you can get perfect results from a noise remover". I agree, but didn't feel like elaborating on something not asked about. You seem to be taking issue with the word "cancel". Call it reverse EQ then. Cool with me. You're ultimately...
You've been here for two years and never noticed this:
Marketing Your Music / Publicity ?
lol :p
According to the rules posted there, as long as you're just promoting your music (no commercial services or products), you're allowed to do it in there. I'd take others advice and promote...
HomeRecording.com member: "Suggested technique for vocal mixing?"
CLA: "Use a distressor"
:laughings: True story: https://homerecording.com/bbs/special-forums/chris-lord-alge-q/suggested-technique-vocal-mxing-340372/
Everybody get in line to borrow supercreep's distressor - I call it first...
Yea, it really is great for quickly testing ideas and ironing out algorithms - I've been playing around with generating harmonics to a given signal today. Do you know anything about the math involved in that? I've never really messed with it before and I'm using algorithms that basically just...
Well, that's lame! I suppose quote tags are better than nothing...my beautiful brace alignment :( lol
and sure - it's a plugin scripting framework built into reaper
REAPER | JS Programming
I read through that and had this limiter up and running in literally like ten minutes:
I know you've...
JS is, by far, the most impressive thing I've ever seen in a DAW - and this is coming from a life-long Cubase user with lots of PT sprinkled throughout. I just wrote a basic limiter in like 10 minutes. This is seriously badass!
I'm trying to post the code here in a readable way.... do we have...
