    How important is re-biasing?

    essentially what ive heard is if it doesnt have enough voltage, the amp will sound week. if it has too much, the amp will sound incredible but it will burn out the tubes faster.

    rock music - ac30 or dual recto?

    channel one is supposed to have an ac30ish clean, and a nice overdrive on channel two. the only thing i wonder is if 2 channels will hold me back for lower gain stuff. you know, channel 1 clean, 2 is OD. what if i want something in the middle?

    i play rock music....everything under the sun...the closest thing i can compare is foo fighters. i like a nice over drive sound. now, i like a good clean sound as well. i think the new ac30s have two channels, but one of the channels has 2 sounds. the ac30 is much cheaper.
