no, not at all. my amp has 2 options, bold and spongy, no big deal at all, im just curious, so i can keep it and only have to hit the one switch, once again, not a big deal at all, its not a problem, just wondering.
to keep my amp in the on position, have it on standby, and use my power conditioner to start up my whole rig, then turn off standby after the tubes have warmed?

are these things good in fx loops? i have heard that they are great and that they suck.
the thing is, im not sure yet. i just ordered a tc electronic g major. theres a possibility that i may encounter some "tone suck" through the fx loop of my dual recto because of an impediance mismatch...
im looking to get a ground control pro (big footboard) theyre 400 new. i can get one NEW IN BOX thats a couple years old, for 300. is that a good deal?
well, my amp (mesa dual recto roadster) has 4 channels, i was thinking putting on the overdrive channel and the light overdrive channel at once so maybe id still get gain but more note clarity with the lower gain as well.
i have a mesa roadster, and im getting a tc electronics g major 2.
the g major has 2 relays on the back capable of switching 4 channels. my mesa has for channels.
so two stereo - 4 mono.
then i need 2 mono on each end for the fx loop.
so it would be

ok, so heres the thing. i made a topic last week about me mesa dual recto roadster with a blown tube.
i bought the amp online, so i cant return it, id have to spend 200 for shipping both ways. the tubes are under warranty for 5 years, so if i can find out which one went, hopefully i can get...
