Hi,
I'm using cooledit and US122....I was wondering how come whenever I record it only writes into the left side. Is there a way to set it in cooledit so that when I sing into the microphone it writes on both side?
I was wondering if there's a way to crank up the direct monitor volumn in CoolEdit during the recording?? I'm using a US122 and it has a direct monitor volumn knob but I crank it up to the max and its still not even loud enough. Please let me know if u know a solution to this problem.
Thank...
Thx for the help Aaron I played around with it a bit and manage to figure out the solution for the vocal volumn during the record. Now that's out off the way I got a question about editing....is there a treble knob or something in cooledit?? I want to turn up the treble and lower the bass sound...
Yep the Guitar Bass etc is not too loud because I can control the volumn with the by turning the headphone knob higher its just the vocal switch comes in live during the recording I don't know where the volumn switch for that is? What are playbacks and where's that at? Also another concern is...
I'm using headphones during the recording and I do turn up the headphone knob to high but that just turns the volumn of the music during the recording loud. I want to know how to turn up my vocal volumn so that during the recording I can hear my vocal. Know what I mean bro?? :) My vocal sound...
Hmmm........I tried turning up the volumn by it didn't help.......where exactly is the volumn switch for the vocal that goes into the headphones? maybe I'm doing it wrong.
Hi,
I am equiped with a NT1000 mic and a US 122, I'm a Newb at all this recording stuff. Got a question, is there a volumn feature in CoolEdit where u can turned up the volumn of the vocals so that I can hear it louder during the recording? Also anyone know a good tutorial that teaches how to...
Hi,
I just purchased a NT1000 Mic and TASCAM US122. Just pluged everything installed the TASCAM drivers and launched Cool Edit and push the record buttton and tried to record and doesn't work. Do I setup my mic in cooledit or any recording software so that it knows I'm recording with the mic?
I'm looking at some Filter in range of $20-$40 I was wondering if there's a big difference with the $20 compared to the $40 ones?? or is the $20 good enough for the job?
Where do u guys buy your equipment online?? I was just about to purchase a mic and preamp at zzounds but they don't ship to Canada. Need a place with the right price and will ship to Canada.
The NT1a is retailed for $200 and the NT1000 for $300. I've read alot of great feedbacks about both mics. I am planning get the NT1000 at this point but I'm wondering if the NT1A sound almost exactly the same or as good as the NT1000. If so think I would rather save $100 and get the NT1A...
Just got back from the store and the dude there recommend the Tascam US122 also!! Its preamped and has phatom power with direct usb plug in straight to the computer. I think I'm going to give that a try with the NT1000 condenser mic. I just hope that the preamp is good and its compatible with XP.
I like that fact that it has a build in pre/amp and connects straight to your computer. I did some research and didn't get any good feedbacks from this product. http://www.zzounds.com/a--2676837/productreview--ALEMULTIMIX8FW <--this guy got me worrying. Another question, are build in pre/amp...
Thx alot for the stuff Panda.........So a mixer is required for the own setup......correct me if I'm wrong........I should be connecting my mic wire from the amp to the mixer and from the mixer to computer. Also I was wondering would it be the same thing if I bought a cheap mixer...
Not a bad bundle.........I don't really like the AT2020 mic that comes with it.....read up some reviews and it wasn't that great. Thx for the headphones link and monitor..I think i'm going to order them....as for software I'm going to probably go with Cooledit cuz I have some experience with...
I've kinda decided...I'm planning to go with the NT1000 mic I was thinking about the NT1A which is $100 cheaper, not sure yet as I don't know which produce better vocal recording sound quality. MG82 FX mixer...I'm just confused about something....is a mixer a preamp?? or is that a different...
