First of all I want to apologize if this is the wrong section.
I need help about what gear/hardware that I need to turn my Macbook into a recording studio. I can't say it's a "home recording studio" because I might bring these on the go.
I am still a student hence I can't afford expensive...
Try listen to other song and fuse them with your song.
What genre is this mean to be? If rock then add some distortion guitar. If not then compose the music for that particular genre.
One suggestion from me though, speed up the tempo might make the song more interesting, like 160 ~ 180 bpm.
I use Windows when I first started. It was using Cubase 5 which mean not so long ago.
