Some people like to leave one heaphone on and one off, so you can also hear your voice the way you are used to hearing it. And you can send a mono feed to the phones.

By expand the vocal I meant the performance, that she do a little more with the vocal as the song builds. I see, the difference I heard between the guitar and the other instruments was who recorded it and on what. I'd like her to get a really good guitarist to accompany her.

It needs to be able to handle live band gigs in rooms that hold a hundred or so people; or smaller, and perhaps also for recording. And at home. :) As you can see by the examples I've chosen I'd like to keep it in the thousand dollars range.
