vm31 to record from inputs 9-10 and 11-12, you need to route these inputs to a certain channel, press shift+channel and you´ll see some options for that channel, do that in channel 1 and set it to use input 9 instead of 1, then do the same on channel 2 setting it to channel 10, then in logic...

what about using less mics? maybe the room is too small and with bare walls ,each drum is heard on every mic, that happened to me, i have a small room, so i used less mics, and spent more time testing in many places to put those mics and decide where they sound good, i also put some blankets...
