    if they are active speakers, yes. if they are passive, no. If you go the passive route you will need a power amp unless you have a powered mixer.

    well...I didn't say anything about the triton because you already did ;) ...that would be the only thing that I could really nitpick about....as far as the snare...it's all about getting the right sound for the paticular track you are working on....for that track, I don't think you could have...
