Downward slide thingy in many punk songs...how?

In a lot of punk songs there are quick slides right before a chorus or something. It's distorted and sounds a little bit like harmonics...but decending in pitch really quickly. A very obvious example is in "Up and Go" by the Starting Line...at around 0:10. In Fat Lip by SUm 41 there is one at...

    CPU Temp

I just noticed that the CPU fan is blowing air into the CPU. Does this make sense? It is the fan that came w/ the processor and heatsink and I did nothing but install it how the directions said. Is this normal? -Scott

I play punk. What guitar should I get?

King Elvis- I don't give a crap that it is a Tom Delongue model guitar. I like the tone that he gets with it and I like the feel of strats. Sorry I offended you. I don't care what you wanna call it, I like that kind of music. Outlaws and Neil- I poped open the pickguard and there is room...

I play punk. What guitar should I get?

Thanks. Has anyone here done this to a Squier Stat before and know off hand if it is possible? If not that's fine, i'm gonna pop it open here sometime to look at the wiring. Do I have to take off the strings? Thanks, Scott

I play punk. What guitar should I get?

Sorry to double post like this but I'm also wondering if it could go in my Squier Strat? Would there be a problem with the strings not lining up right with the pickup? Or a wiring problem? (It has all single coils now) Thanks, Scott
