    Very good work for 12 years old!Stylisticly its "poetic"...Just some ideas. Try editing it ..Do you need the words ..LIKE,You might not need to state its a metophore..possilby BUT,A ..Economy,sometimes says more...Good luck nice job :)

    I agree with Chessrock...The Old School Audio stuff is very nice!The closest to the Great River's personality is the L3{that I've tried} however you don't have the loading option..the C's are very good on drums like snare and kik and I really like the A's on overheads ect now Im useing the G/R...

    Rhyme is fine.. Also dropping a exspected rhyme is a good device to lend the phrase importance..for examp. loose the rhyme and replace with a sylabic double...or something to that effect :)

    1000$ mic pre for a 300$ mic???

    I would get the pre and use it with a MXL V69 or 77 and they are useful mics anyways ..you will want it{pre} when you do get a Royer .IMO :)

    Check out the MXL V69..cool mic..AT 4033 is pretty nice but I've never tought of it as "warm"..but you gots to listen for yourself :)

    It is very good with a R121!IMHO it is a excellent pre for alot of things.I use it with a R84 on guitar as a go to over my Vipre ect. :)

    Perhaps the TLM is a good pairing for your voice w/the Mackie vers. the KSM44..Nothing is is the perfect solution for all things..Voice is the tuffest thing to get{IMHO}just right and it changes ever so slightly day to day..If the TLM works for ya then go for it!Good luck :)

    Microphone pre-amps

    As for preamps..If you can find a Event EMP 1 it is much better than the ART..used it should run fairly inexpensive{about 50.00}..for a decent mic get a Shure SM57 new they are about 79.00 go to your local store and check one out..Its a "dynamic" mic no phantom power needed..Good luck :)
