But just one thing, setting it to 0dB, would that give me limited headroom?

    A new song lyrics/ Opinions?

Verses are good, chorus sounds a bit predictable and cliché, but may well sound right and fit the song when in context. Hard too tell when just reading. Good luck with it though.

    Tascam DP24 and Direct recording

Hi, Im trying to record guitar using a Palmer Speaker Simulator PDi03 direct to my DP24. The Palmer is a cab sim, in which you can plug an amp head to it and it can record direct. My question is, shall i use a preamp of some sort before the DP24, or a external mixer before the DP24? or something...

The inputs on the POD HD are navigated digitally, you can set either output to Guitar or Mic. Were you saying i should switch the DP24 to guitar instead of line? thanks.

Tascam DP24 and Line 6 POD HD problem

Thanks for the info, and i will certainly try switching it to guitar instead of line. I wasn't doing that already, as in the DP24 manual i thought it said that as soon as you were using external effects etc, you should set it to line. But what your saying makes sense, thanks.

    send effects Tascam dp24

One thing i do know, is that you have to turn the master 1 and 2 send effects on the mixer up pretty high, even up to 127, then use the send 1 and 2 to achieve the desired amount. But obviously click the effect button first to turn on the reverb. How this helps.
