Hmm, I disagree. In most modern homes, all the outlets in one room are on the same circuit. At least where I live. Also, you want all your audio equipment to be on the same circuit anyways, to avoid ground loops.
Currently, I really like my 17" K Zildjian MT Dark Crash.
My buddy has a few of those Constantinople K's that I really like, but they're just too damn expensive.
I kinda have been looking at getting a 18" K Dark Crash, but I don't have the money at this point.
I also had this problem with sonar 3 when recording/playing 10 tracks, and the IO buffer size fixed it.
BTW, I run a Celeron 1.7ghz with 512mb of ddr266 and a 5400rpm 2mb buffer hard drive (with the OS on it too). I can record 10 tracks at 48khz 24bit no problems. For playback I can have...
Yeah, I agree. I would get the Behringer B-1 if you want to use it for vocals. The B-5 is more of an instrument mic.
As far as SM58 vs. a Behringer, who knows?
Me personally, I would get the Behringer B-1 for studio vocals and the SM58 for live vocals, though it totally depends on what type...
Sorry Mike, still wrong.
I now have purchased the 1212m and 3 days ago I recorded 10 INDIVIDUAL MONO TRACKS all at once with Cakewalk Sonar!!!
Believe me, the 1212m is capable of recording separate tracks, from 1 to 12 of them. The first day I got it I was recording 2 individual mono tracks...
???
Mike,
Are you talking about this card? http://www.emu.com/products/product.asp?product=2210&category=754&maincategory=754
This has 2 xlr ins and 6 1/4" ins. If it only could record one channel, why would it have 8 inputs?
Even the 1212M has 2 1/4" ins(plus 2 more ins via S/PDIF, and 8...
Moisture
Yes, condenser mics are very sensitive to moisture. You should not use a condenser mic for close vocal micing without a pop filter/wind screen. The moisture from the singer voice is bad for it.
New Board
Yeah, but that's only 6 in 8 out and $400. I'd rather get the M-Audio 1010lt and deal with the RCA's. I'm just trying to fing a heads-up on a 10I/O or 8I/O that's not mainstream.
New Board
Yeah, I was looking at that, but was kind of turned off by all the RCA connections. Know of anything like the M-Audio 1010LT except with 1/4 connectors?
Here's the deal.
I want get a new audio interface for my computer. I currently have a external 2 I/O and want to upgrade. I am looking for something that I could record seperate tracks for a 4 piece band and still send all the signals to the band's PA system (like a 10 I/O). I would like...
