    gotta let u go (beat)

Gotta let you go doesn't sound near as original as the rest of your beats. I feel like I've heard it before many times

Public Service Announcement To All My New Fam In The Forum

he does have a point. Being only a month old to this thread, i can confidently say that it is far easier to become active in this thread if it seems you can glean something out of it (and immediate rewards come on your first post). After this, I think most people realize that they now have the...

Aman (straight fire with these cats)

sounds nice, the beat is real hot. I wish the beat was louder and the vocals were a bit softer

New Track, it Needs Something, Can you help?

sounds great man. im sure that should Jay-Z hear himself rapping on it, he would agree

Two more for you to rip up.

Shining- yeah definitely a step in the right direction in my opinion. but like the other guy said, the bass doesnt really fit in (I actually can't tell if thats just a reverbed or an 808 drum or actually bass) right now. But i think it has a nice, cool feel to it. Chaos-once again, not too bad...

    Let Me Get Some Feedback

I like it, especially the hook. The only thing is, your voice sometimes gets lost in the beat and its difficult to hear and undertstand you. Did you pan any of the instruments?

    Some Real Talk

in my opinion, if you are looking for your beats to sound professional, you need to add more, different sounds to each one. They need to be fuller and more complex, with perhaps more instruments. Look at Fieva's beat for example: not only does he have the typical hi hat/snare/kick drum layer...

    New Track: California Smile

imo, this is the best track that you have done so far, which says alot. It's a bonafide banger, im really feeling those power chords. Nice job

    Some new tracks...

shweet I like them both a lot, especially Astral Plane. I don't think Guru when I hear them though, I think MF Doom. Your flows and subject matter (all over the place but tied together by some tight rhymes) are very similar, as are the parts when you fad out the entire beat at the end of some...

    New Beats

damn damn those are both hot tracks. They completely encompass what I envision the prototypical, but yet unique-sounding, ATL track to be. Props

I need ya thoughts on this got damn track.......

yeah man, other than the mixing (which i understand hasn't been done yet), this is a nice track. The beat is basic, but raw, and the flow is nice. The melody does get a bit repetitive after awhile, maybe you should fade it out for some bars, i dunno.

VST instruments in Fruity Loops 5

Hi, I'm relatively new to all of this. I have Fruity Loops Studio 5, but found it's sounds to be insufficient, so I went ahead and purchased Sampletank. Now, I have all of these VST's and absolutely no idea what to do with them! Can I just drop them in a Fruity Loops folder and then use them like...

    New Track: Orange

A nice, simple beat. I like it, except for the piano intro part. For some reason it just doesn't seem to fit well, perhaps because it doesn't come at you the way you would anticipate it to. But i like it overall

New Track: South of Town (Version 1)

yea I agree, I like the drum layering and whatnot, it gets my head nodding. i'm interested to hear the rest of it

    Champ Music

dammmmnn, I'm definitely feeling it. It even sounds fire on soundclick, which is pretty tough to do.
