FS: Presonus Firestudio and Digimax D8

Picked up a pair of Mackie Blackbirds recently, so I don't need the Presonus gear now. I picked up the Firestudio from another member here a couple months ago and it has been great. There are a couple scuff marks (normal rack marks) on it, but it is otherwise in great shape. The Digimax does not...

    New Interface needed

I just picked up a pair of Blackbirds. Sound quality is great, build quality is great, but the drivers are a little finicky. I plan on posting more of a review soon, but I haven't gotten into any actual recording yet, so I didn't want to jump the gun. The weird thing I'm noticing is that, when...

    Best low wattage valve amp?

Well, if you are back on the market for amps later, the Vox Night Train is my personal favorite. A lot of people like Fender's Blues Jr., but it seems more jazz/bluesy to me. I really want to like the little Orange amps, but even for me, only one tone knob is stretching it a bit (though, in...

FS: Sennheiser EK300 IEM G2 (in ear receiver and buds)

We were getting rid of one at work and I thought I might be able to fix it up to work with some legal frequencies here in the US, but I don't think that's going to be feasible/practical, so I might as well sell it. This one is essentially brand new--I believe it was a canceled special order, so...

DW7000 and Pearl P902 drum pedals

Getting rid of a DW7000 single pedal and a Pearl P902 double pedal. I got the DW7000 used a while back to replace a Gibralter double pedal. I liked the feel of the DW better and thought I wouldn't need the double. Couple years later, I started listening to heavier music, so I got the P902 to...

    Is this possible in reaper?

Yes. Everything is possible in Reaper. Seriously though, you can. The simplest way is with the included plugin called drumtrigger. Just filter the drum track so that you are getting just the fundamental of the drum you want (use EQ and probably ReaFir for best results). I think what I did after...

FS: ART Tube MP Studio (x2)

$15 each, sorry. Figuring about $5 for shipping, so if you want both, I'll combine shipping, making $25 total.

FS: ART Tube MP Studio (x2)

They're in pretty much mint condition. I just have a whole lot of other preamps that I like better, so I don't need them anymore. Looking for $15 shipped anywhere in the continental US. I have the power adapters, I think I still have the manuals, but I don't have the original boxes.

    Various ways of syncing converters...

I already have all the stuff to do it either way, minus a BNC terminator. I'm mostly interested in what the science or theory behind each way is. I just have one Firestudio and a Digimax, so I couldn't do it over firewire. I've also got a MOTU 2408 I'd like to use, though now that I think about...

    Various ways of syncing converters...

I read that article, too, which is why I will just be using my Firestudio as the master. On the other hand, I could use my Digimax D8 as the master if I use ADAT to sync. I thought I had read that ADAT sync isn't as good because you're also sending audio and somehow it's bad to have both, but it...

    Various ways of syncing converters...

I've been trying to find some information on the advantages/disadvantages of the different ways of synchronizing converters, but I can't seem to find a whole lot of information. There's word clock sync over BNC, there's ADAT over an optical cable, there's AES/EBU (I think, though most things...

    FS: New M-Audio ProFire 2626

I recevied it about 2 days ago, decided I would rather have the Firestudio, but can't return the ProFire, so I'm going to get what I can for it. I opened it to try it out, had it sitting on my desk for about two days, and will be putting it back in the box tonight. What you're buying is...

    Presonus Firestudio 26x26

If you right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and go to "Playback Devices," then select the Presonus and hit "Properties," then go to the "Advanced" tab, it should so there what bit rate Windows is running at. I imagine its 24 bit, and it doesn't really matter if it isn't, I'm just curious...

    Presonus Firestudio 26x26

This is maybe a weird question, but it looks like you're running Windows 7. If you open up your playback devices in the audio control panel and hit preferences, does the Firestudio show up as 24 bit for Windows audio? My MOTU piece would only ever show up as 16, but the ProFire shows up as one...
