    Best reverb pedal

Do you have a price range? There are many better reverb pedals, although that one is fine.

Any way to rackmount a Focusrite 2i2 interface

Its actually the BEST option! Cheap, flexible, secure and reversible. You might need some goo-gone if you pull the velcro off, but it will come off clean. And rack ears or whatever would certainly scratch the finish more than this.. if they existed. :) You could also coat the whole shelf with...

Any way to rackmount a Focusrite 2i2 interface

Rack Shelf + Velcro. You might need to pop the feet off to make it really bomber.. but it WILL be. You could use heavy duty double-sided tape if you wanted, as well. +

Rode NT1-A or something else for my voice

Im not a hater- I think that package from Ebay is a good, safe investment. Hang some heavy drapes in a corner and back up to it, and I think you will do fine. If you don't like the mic on YOUR voice.. put it in a drawer and pull it out when you need to mic someone else. Its a modern classic.. I...

Building New PC – What/How Many Case Fans should I use?

Cute. It looks like a case fan is OPTIONAL with that, since the power supply is external? So unless you are cramming some hot stuff in there, you should be fine. I would try with just the CPU fan, see how you do. If you DO need a fan, I'm glad you aren't worried about noise.. cuz it seems to...

    Interface upgrade suggestions?

so - I havent USED the UR824 in reaper.. but I have used it's standalone mixer, and the onboard effects and routing interface is kid of shite. Whereas doing that same routing inside Cubase is easy. BUT if you were not using that stuff, it is probably fine. I just IMAGINE some other device in...

Cubase Studio 5: MIDI channels not sending to mixdown. Help!

OK- I don't see any giant problems there! Question: is the Vsti called "Keys" mixing down correctly? Lets try a couple things: a) in the Audio Mixdown window- try a 'real-time-export' If that works.. then this is a technical issue, not a setup/routing thing. b) Click "Channel Batch Output"...

Cubase Studio 5: MIDI channels not sending to mixdown. Help!

Instrument tracks MAY contain MIDI.. but MIDI tracks sometimes will NOT contain an instrument. . Like- here is a screenshot from cubase 5's 'add track' context menu- you can see that you can add an instrument track OR a MIDI track.. It is similar in all the versions since. Since there are...

Cubase Studio 5: MIDI channels not sending to mixdown. Help!

Not always, and no, you don't. So- slow down. Blyker- we need a little info-can you screenshot your project window? Also, can you doublecheck your MIXDOWN settings.. make sure you haven't deselected your GrooveAgent output?

    Interface upgrade suggestions?

6v6- you need to tell us a pricerange if you want real data here. Scarlett stuff is fine. The Presonus is probably better. I was not in love with the latency unsing MIDI under cubase with my old Scarlet.. but it was manageable. I saw a big improvement moving to the steinberg UR824- but I...

    Infinite Piano Sustain Possibilities?

using HALion, and the Patch "Piano MW Strings"- the notes will play at even volume as long as they are held down. You could either do it live by holding the sustain pedal, or just draw in a super long MIDI note. Its synth-y kind of sound.. but w/e.

    3.0 and FW

I usually am all for trying to make things work- But take it from me, man- this is a losing proposition. What you need to do it buy a new interface. Luckily, you can buy something and still use your 2626- just with the ADAT! If I were you I would look at something like this: Audient iD14 |...

Considering a purchase of a Shure SM7B for my first XLR setup

Not at all- there is a hard monitoring loop that doesn't go through the computer. If you were playing a VSTi, though.. there would be a little delay.
