Delta 1010LT and Cubase now in the lead. Why do you guys think the 1010LT is a better idea than a digidesign rack?

Neck and neck so far. I've looked into the price and I think with a proper mixer with two sweepable mid EQs and grouping I am looking at roughly the same price as a digi002 rack set up. So I guess the question is which is more powerful, stable etc. I'm leaning towards pro tools.

Which should I get? a great PC with a digi 002 rack & pro tools & an ADAT interface or a great PC with two 1010LTs, Cubase and a decent studio mixer Let's have your votes please ladies and gentlemen. :)

This is one of those grey areas I was on about. Since you bought the hardware and the Mac software you could always download the PC software for free with edonkey.

I would suggest the exact opposite. Cut the top and bottom, boost the middle and add a little distortion. Use a cheap mic without a pop-sheild too.
