i got Guitar Tracks with my j-station, and randomly in songs it skips around...it really pisses me off....is it cause my computer can't handle the software....i've done recording with other programs just fine in the past!?!?!? any insight is much appreciated

Sorry!!!! it's not just j-station tracks, it's all! and yes it is a crack...now i'm using the Cakewalk software that came with the j-station for recording.

when i record from my j-station onto cool edit pro it sounds fine at first, but say if i exit the program then go back to the recording there is digital distorion on it, like it';s peaking or something...but its nnot. does anyone know what this might be caused by, as far as i know it only...

You should take a look at the Presonus M80, it has 8 mic pre's. Tell me how you like it if you get it

Would you suggest that I buy a mic pre if I already have mic pre's in my Behringer 1604, or are the Behringer mic pre's less than par?

I own a Behringer eurorack 1604A and was wondering how I could mix 8 instruments on that and then bring them out seperatly to my digidesign 001 interface, or is it only possible to bring a left and right channel out of that mixer?

I just like the feel of having faders at my hands, but I guess I could easily live without it. I also must admit that I like the look of having a nice mixer sitting in my studio, it just doesn't look right without one. But your right I probably should use the software for mixing 1st, then decide...
