yeah he's right ....what are your priorities.....lexicon is a really well built piece.
Tascam still comes off as toy-like...but that's just me.
Lexicon pairs well with the computer especially now because they got rid of 'Pro Tracks' and now they include 'cube' a more recognizable software...
 So what's up with everybody or SO MANY people on the Triton trip.
Is it the ultimate in producing? Do you have to be a keyboard player? Are the contained sounds THAT dope? Is it easier to bang out snares? kicks? bass lines? someone please enlighten me. And how much would a secondhand...
my guess is that a sound card is in order. If I'm not mistaken that should carry your audio from the roland into the computer...but i'm learning too!
your answer is on this site in another section so, navigate, read and navigate back here....by the time you get back here - you'll have your...
I keep hearing that usb robs you of "quality"....without breaking the bank - what are my choices? Low budget? Medium Budget? and lastly what if money isn't a problem?
Thanks to all of you
just now getting back to the site haven't gotten back home yet to tweak and adjust....but I also noticed I've really got to do some adjusting . . . cause all sources last i checked yielded the exact same results....CD player, drum machine, sampler - clearly I'm doing...
Can I pick up a used laptop to simply give me a monitor that doesn't take up so much space?
I recently saw a setup where the guy had a laptop where his monitor should have been. Said he rigged it instead of going out and buying a slick new Flat Screen Monitor. The cool thing was that he could...

Is anyone familiar with "Musicians University" it's an online school that offers classes in producing, recording, music classes(begginner, intermediate, advanced, writing & composing) the courses are dirt cheap but I was wondering whether or not anyone has been that route. :o
I have a budget of $500-$600...I'm looking at samplers. Can anyone recommend a good sampler. Obviously I want the most bang for my buck.
I am willing to go with second hand gear. I'm leaning towards Roland's SP 606
but that KORG ES 1 is nice too! I want to do multi-media things...radio station...
hey guys/gals......I need feedback. What's the real deal? what's better Yamaha or Behringer. The mixers seem identical aside from the fact that the Behringer is a step up(I think for $150 it's a steal) the Yamaha is tempting at $96. I'm just trying to keep ahead of the curve. I'm not...
