The beat is tight and on point, but it sounds like the vocals are alittle off beat. The chorus doesnt flow well with the tune. There should be a chorus tune to go chrous vocals. Its an ok mix. :)

The back up piano sounds out of tune, which causes me to lose focus on the main rhytm and enjoyment of the beat. And like vmock said u need a much stronger and punchier baseline. Change it up every couple bars.

I have the same problem as you. I made two threads about it. I have to eq the lower end eq to low. The At4040 is also a very sensitive mic.

DMP3 is crap imo. I just bought a mackie mixer and the onboard preamps are way better. Im not saying that the DMP3 is garbage, its just not clean on my voice with the At4040 I have. It has alot of warmth in it. What type of mic are you using? I made some threads about the DMP3. Maybe you can...
