They charge shipping which is a bit of a drag when you're used to free shipping on everything nowadays.
Can't remember the exact amount... I think it depends on the size of your order.
Shipping is fast, and they include a pack of 6 .71mm JustStrings.com picks for whatever that's worth...
Recording Revolution dude seems like a nice guy, and I like a few of his motivational videos. (I use his 4dB rule all the time!)
He seems like he's knowledgeable, and capable...
But, I think the music in his recording and mixing videos sounds painfully amateur. Nothing ever sounds cohesive. The...
I don't know. Even if for some reason you strum furiously close to the neck, nothing would likely be triggered because there are no buttons. Just velocity sensitive pads that require direct force to react to anything.
And even if there were a heavy handed person who strummed from bottom to top...
Looks wise - yeah it looks pretty weird on strats and les pauls. I do like it on solid color guitars though.
Here it is on one of mine the day it came in from livid:
The back of it can be adjusted so it sits on the guitar properly.
But I can't get it to fit on any of my basses (Fender Jazz)...
I've used it in settings to control stuff that doesn't exist in hardware form (izotope stutter edit, and a few other specialty plugins), but I really like using it in situations where I'm not lugging around my amp & effects rig, and don't want to be forced to use the mouse to change patches in...
I've been using Gravity Guitar Picks for about a year now.
(The big orange one on the top left of the pile in particular - Sunrise standard 2mm masterfinish).
They're a little pricey, but I like them.
I didn't think I'd like really heavy picks since I used .88 and .60mm tortex for years, but I...
Here's who I'm currently looking at for longterm projects (albums, EPs): AudibleOddities – Audio Mastering Engineer for Internet, CD, and Vinyl | Mastering Audio for Internet, CD, and Vinyl. (those Amon Tobin records are sonic masterpieces!)
Short-term stuff (the occasional track, or audio for...
I don't know about this.
I've haven't found it to be thin or airy at all. I've found it to be a fuller sound than when I have 6 mics. And less flabby than typical overheads since it picks up less of the room. Probably has to do with my placement & signal path though. Maybe if someones just using...
I've tried everything before, the typical close mics on everything with overheads, the Recorderman technique, the Glyn Johns method, and various other mic combinations, and I've found the Tchad Blake method with a snare mic & kick mic to be my favorite.
With all the others I couldn't stand or...
Hi all!
I'm back on PC armed with Cubase 8 after a couple of years of using Mac exclusively.
I have a question - is there an easy way to have mono audio output on windows?
Macs just have a single button to click and it makes everything mono including interface output.
I have a single...
Thanks d00ds!
That link helped a ton!!!
Also, further testing reveals that, yes, the D16 LuSH-101 is a CPU hog. I've went ahead and retired it for now anyway.
I'll be adding that extra 8 gigs of RAM as soon as I develop the patience for it lol. Took me 3 days to get everything formatted...
