Chris, out of the 7 ribbons I got on the GB, the label side was positive (in phase) on all my ribbons except ONE ACM2. I'd suggest everyone check the phase on their ribbons. It seems phase is a relative term for the Chinese.

No buzzing on any of our pre's and we have all of them 73, 81, 84.

I can't say I PREFER either one. I use both depending on the track. I was off using the i5 for a long time, then put up a 57 one time and was blown away once again. Both good, but the 57 is more agressive. You can hear them both here along with a bunch of the other suspects like: 421, 441...
