Then why use EZDrummer...??? I think there is some serious misunderstanding of the differences between EZDrummer and DFH.... Is still say he should go the the toontrack website, and read up....

    Sterling Audio

Not to be a smart ass, but I have 2 (or 4 questions).... 1.) Why did you spend $200 on a mic if you never heard it or of its reputation? 2.) How could WE know if it's a good mic for YOU? 3.) Why don't you just use it, and decide for yourself if it's "Good"? 4.) What is "Good"?? Good for what ...

Is it wrong to like The Edge?

Yes, it's wrong to like him... :D But not "as wrong" as liking Bono...... What a pompous jerk.......

    Recording (non-real) Drums??

Yup... everything I have heard is that BFD is the shit.... (in a good way) But it also takes a ton of CPU and disk space.... (and time...) Also, I REALLY like the drag and drop MIDI loops in EZDrummer... (Did I mention that I am lazy when it comes to drums?? :D ) I think I'm gong to be pretty...

The BFD manual covers this rather well... Have you looked in the manual? It comes with the software when you purchase it, in the box.... ;)

    Recording (non-real) Drums??

LOL!!! If you knew my drumming skills, you wouldn't even suggest it!!!!!!!!!!!! :D Plus, my studio is pretty much maxed out for room... Where the hell did the IMAGE tags go in the editor??? Anyway, here's my crowded studio room...

Hey guys.... Just got back from a good friends.... He's just started using ezdrummer, and was raving about it.... (he's a guitar player too...) I played with it a bit, and it seems PERFECT for the way I work. Fast and easy drum tracks, so I can get on with the "fun" stuff... playing guitar...

    Recording (non-real) Drums??

That's a good idea, but I have some guitar parts in mind that Groove Agent doesn't have any suitable parts for... My wife is out of town, and it's supposed to be 113 degrees here today.... sounds like a good day to experiment a bit....... :D Thanks again

    Recording (non-real) Drums??

Thanks... actually it does help.... I am using Cubase... looks like I'll be spending a lot more time in the MIDI editor... That was a good tip about modifying the velocity. It makes complete sense... This might not be that bad (except for the fils), because I am a huge fan of cutting/pasting...

    Recording (non-real) Drums??

I'm really curious... I am a "one man" studio, so "real drums" are out of the question.... In the past, I have used everything from an Alesis SR-16 to Acid style loops, to Steinberg's Groove Agent.... BUT, I always feel that my songs are defined by whatever "beats/fills" are available. I hate...

The reviews at Musicians Friend for the BC Rich Mockingbird are hysterical.... . This guitar is NOTHING like the Mockingbird I had in the 80's which was a handmade USA ($2200) axe.... (Sorry I sold it now...) :(
